Pack & Stack Self Storage wants you to be as informed as possible about how we operate our facility and what you should expect when storing your property with us, so here are some frequently asked questions about the services we offer.

Question: Do I have to lug or carry my stuff up stairs or in an elevator to reach my unit?

No, all of our units are on ground level. You can drive up directly to any of the our outside units to load or unload your property. If you choose a climate controlled unit, then we have handcarts, dollys and flatbeds for you to use. We also carry a full supply of materials that you can purchase to pack your items with before you bring them to storage.

Question: If I use one of the interior storage units, will my things be protected against moisture and temperature changes?

Yes! You do not need to worry about fluctuations in temperature, or the wet weather conditions that are so common in Florida. Our units are air conditioned and humidity controlled just like you would have in your own home. We also have FREE pest control to keep little critters at bay, and away from your property.

Question: Do I have to get my own lock, or do you provide them?

We offer Maximum Security cylinder locks that are made of solid brass that you may purchase right in our main office. Each lock comes with 3 keys.

Question: How do you keep track of who enters and exits your property?

Our facility is completely fenced in with perimeter lighting throughout. You can only access or leave our storage facility areas by entering the PIN number that each unit or space holder has been assigned. We log the use of these PIN numbers and also have 24 hour video surveillance on all access points, outdoor parking areas, and main driveways throughout the property.

Question: Do I need to insure my property?

Having insurance is not mandatory, but is recommended. If you believe that your property is worth storing, then it should also be worth insuring. If you are parking an RV, boat, or other vehicle, then you most likely already have insurance that will cover your property in the event of damage. For those using the self storage units, we do have insurance that you purchase for the duration of the time you have your property in storage.

Question: Can I lease a unit for just the time I need it, or is there a minimum lease term?

You can rent any of our units or spaces on a month-to-month basis. If you know that you will need long term storage, you can take advantage of our yearly lease discounts.
